Here’s a peek at some of what we’ve been up to these last few days in Mumbai…
We went on an early morning adventure to Sasoon docks to get fresh seafood for dinner. Nothing quite like carry a back pack full of raw fish, prawns and ice, tied up with a hair band on a crowded train. This experience was definitely worth smelling a little fishy for a day.
An afternoon was spent wandering the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya museum (please don’t ask me to pronounce this name). We had fun meeting all the school children who were extra fascinated with Roberts red beard.
Each day is full of new sights and experiences but as a couple of weeks have quickly gone by I’m beginning to feel like we are a little more at home in this big new city.
Oh, by the way, we’ll be travelling around India for quite a while and would gladly accept and appreciate any tips for places to check out and explore while we’re here!
